At 28, the Riverdale star has turned brunette, embracing a major hair makeover. She revealed this change on Instagram, effectively introducing her character from The Love Hypothesis alongside her new hairdo.
“ #thelovehypothesis,” was the caption Reinhart chose for her post, featuring her holding Hazelwood’s romance novel.
In her portrayal of Olive, the actress from Look Both Ways has already adopted the brunette look, styling her hair in a messy bun and donning a lab coat.
Reinhart also took part in the “My Name is Pink” TikTok trend to display her new hairstyle and introduce her co-star, captioning it, “hello Dr. Adam Carlsen #thelovehypothesis.”
In the clip, she greets Tom Bateman with a handshake, who plays her romantic counterpart, Dr. Adam Carlsen, in the movie.
“Third year PhD student looking for a fake relationship,” Reinhart wrote in the video before turning the camera to reveal the Murder on the Orient Express actor. “Hotshot professor who agrees to fake relationship.”
In the story, Olive tries to persuade her best friend Anh that her dating life is thriving. Meanwhile, she and Dr. Adam Carlsen concoct a plan to pretend they are a couple, only to find their feelings for each other deepening for real.
The adaptation of The Love Hypothesis is being directed by Claire Scanlon (Set It Up) and will feature Reinhart as one of the executive producers, alongside Hazelwood and Catherine Hagedorn. The release date is yet to be announced.
