Hilary Duff recently shared a funny moment with her spouse Matthew Koma that gave her followers a peek into their playful relationship.

On Monday, August 4, Duff uploaded a video to her Instagram Stories showing Koma relaxing in a chair, donned in a white cutoff tank top adorned with a green “Newport” emblem. He completed his outfit with a green “3M Automotive” baseball cap and black shorts.

“It’s pretty cool that you’re still wearing the shirt you performed in yesterday at a sweaty Lollapalooza, flew home in, and are now wearing well into today. You’re also having a pretty intense nip slip right now,” Duff narrated as Koma was busy scrolling through his phone.

Koma had been on stage at the Chicago music festival on August 2.

Duff and Koma first crossed paths in 2013, but it wasn’t until 2017 that they started dating. They exchanged vows two years later and have since built a family together, including their children Banks Violet, Mae James, and Townes Meadow. Duff also has a son, Luca Cruz, from her previous marriage to Mike Comrie.

The family often shares glimpses of their life together. On Father’s Day 2025, Duff posted a video celebrating Koma with touching moments of their children, captioning it, “Remember when you said you wanted kids by 35?? Tricked you! Happy Father’s Day to the cutest and the best — we will keep you forever.”

In the shared video, Koma is seen styling his daughter’s hair. He had previously posted a heartfelt tribute to Duff in December 2024, marking their fifth wedding anniversary. “As I lay next to you in bed, utterly exhausted after our third consecutive 14-hour day of taking our 4 kids skiing — I feel like the luckiest. You chose me to do the impossible with. And as we navigate through these truly IN IT years, I think the most exciting thing is knowing on the other side of this, we get each other,” Koma expressed.
