  • He was dressed in a light, summery outfit during his day around the city
  • He donned this outfit just a few hours before his scheduled concert in Holmdel, N.J.

Rod Stewart continues to show that fashion knows no age boundaries.

On a sunny Friday in New York City, the celebrated “Forever Young” vocalist was spotted in a breezy, stylish getup. The 80-year-old music legend chose a sheer white button-down shirt, slightly open at the chest and tucked into a pair of white linen shorts, perfect for the summer heat.

Complementing his light attire, Stewart sported white high-top Converse sneakers, with socks pulled up, maintaining a trendy yet casual look. His choice of accessories included black aviator sunglasses and multiple pieces of jewelry such as a pearl necklace, several silver rings, a diamond tennis necklace, a diamond bangle bracelet, and a hefty curb chain bracelet.

His appearance in NYC was just a prelude to his performance later that evening at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J., held on the same day.

Currently, Stewart is captivating audiences worldwide with his latest international tour, which recently featured a memorable performance at the Glastonbury Festival on June 29.

At Glastonbury, Stewart took to the Pyramid Stage for a legendary slot performance, where he was joined by famous guests including Lulu, Ronnie Wood of Rolling Stones and Faces, and Mick Hucknall of Simply Red. The set list included some of his greatest hits like “Tonight’s the Night (Gonna Be Alright)” and “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy.” The highlight was a surprise duet with Hucknall, performing “If You Don’t Know Me by Now” originally by Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, and later, bringing out Wood for a rendition of Faces’ 1971 classic “Stay with Me,” followed by Lulu joining him for “Hot Legs.”
