Harry Potter star Stanislav Yanevski recently disclosed his hospitalization due to severe respiratory issues.
Yanevski shared an image on Instagram on May 23, which displayed him in a hospital bed with a bandaged nose and an IV line inserted. The actor, who celebrated his 40th birthday on May 16, mentioned that he faced these health issues shortly after his birthday celebrations, leading to his hospitalization.
“I underwent surgery, and the image was captured right after I exited the operating room,” he explained in his post, emphasizing that he kept the news private initially to avoid causing concern among his fans and loved ones.
“I’ve always preferred to handle my challenges quietly,” he shared, acknowledging the support he received from his close ones and family during this tough time.
Yanevski reassured his followers that he is on the mend and that recovery is going well.
“I am looking forward to being able to breathe easily again, to fully experience all the scents of life, something I’ve missed in recent months. I’ll soon be able to sleep without any difficulty, ensuring a proper recovery and restoring my full strength,” he expressed optimistically.
Although currently unable to speak freely due to surgical interventions in his nose, Yanevski was pleased with his recovery progress, as confirmed during a recent medical check-up. He attributes his swift recovery to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which includes proper diet and exercise.
“Thank you all for your continuous love and support. Sending lots of love back to you all and hoping you have a fantastic and magical weekend,” he concluded in his message.
Stanislav Yanevski is best known for his portrayal of Viktor Krum in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and his brief appearance in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. Since the end of the Harry Potter series in 2011, he has participated in several short and feature films, including Last Man Down in 2021.
