Friday Favorites.

Almost the weekend!!!  Big smile on my face for sure.  It has seemed to be the longest week ever (one kid with strep and one with a reaction to an rx).  With my youngest has been battling strep and a nagging cold —-I’ve been busy training, cooking and sanitizing pretty much everything in sight.

One of my goals for 2016 is to share my favorites with you all each Friday no matter how in-depth or not.  So this week’s favorites include…

I don’t wash my hair everyday.  This product saves my day – every single day!  I probably have more dry shampoo in my hair than regular.  I typically wash my hair (traditional method) 3 days a week and use this in between.  With running and training as much as I do -I honestly don’t have time to wash and dry my hair – there is not enough time in the day.  They say…. It absorbs oil, sweat and odor and allows for easy removal, leaving behind virtually no visible residue or powdery build-up. A time-release fragrance delivers a light, clean scent all day. Fast-absorbing powder soaks up oil and sweat while a patented OFPMA molecule reduces the surface friction on hair so it’s easy to remove the powders.  You can purchase it here.

My husband heard Dr. Agus on a radio show on his way to work.  He was so impressed with the medical information he was sharing that he insisted I run to pick up this book.  I’ve been very impressed with the information that he shares about editing your DNA.  Technologies that assist in avoiding chronic conditions, pain, depression, high blood pressure and diabetes.  Prolong fertility.  Weight loss.  Turning cancer into a manageable condition.  I highly recommend this read.  You can find it here.

Lately, I’ve been gravitating towards this cereal everyday for lunch or dinner.  It’s packed with 7 grams of protein (cereal alone minus toppings).  I love it because it’s nice and warm and easy to prepare.  I top it with some almond butter, sliced bananas or berries, pistachios or almonds and some cinnamon.  It helps me to carb load and isn’t packed with sugary dry cereal.  Superfoods ready in about 1 minute… perfect for busy moms.  It can be purchased here or at your local grocery store or Target.

And with Valentine’s Day less than a month away I’ve been pulling out some little bowls filled with candy hearts.  A heart garland.  Sprinkling little bits of love around the house.  I stumbled upon this at Target and was quite smitten especially at 12.99!

    1. Agreed, plus they look so good and practical. I was my hair twice a day after running and then work with usually includes working out as well. The oatmeal may get purchased this weekend!

  1. How funny! My teen had a severe reaction to a face product this week. And I use that shampoo too. Have to! I also use the best day ever shampoo and conditioner when I’m wet washing it. Love Purely Elizabeth! Her cook book is awesome. Hope everyone heals quickly

    1. Heather, My oldest’s reaction was downright terrifying to say the least. Thankfully that was better in under 24 hours. The other child went to work today feeling much better with two doses of her antibiotic. Fun week. I’ve been feeling blah but resting up and keeping my fingers crossed πŸ™‚ Ahhh just love winter. oxoxo
