Wagamama launches wraps for first time, inspired by iconic dishes - plus new mains under £10

Wagamama is rolling out a bold summer menu that turns its best-known bowls into handheld options and adds budget-friendly lunchtime choices. The changes arrive in restaurants and on delivery platforms from June 17, 2026, promising familiar flavours in new formats.

Summer menu reveal: wraps, boxes and fresh flavours at Wagamama

The chain has updated its lineup with 26 new dishes. The overhaul mixes portable meals with elevated chef specials. The move aims to attract lunch crowds and fans of signature dishes alike.

First-ever wraps: ramen and chicken katsu reworked for on-the-go

For the first time, Wagamama has transformed two signature recipes into wraps. The new handhelds recreate classic tastes while staying portable.

  • Chicken katsu wrap — crisp chicken, katsu sauce and the chain’s dipping elements in a wrap.
  • Yasai ramen wrap — ramen-inspired filling with broth-style seasoning adapted to a wrap form.

Both wraps are part of the lunch offering and include Wagamama’s distinctive sauces and textures.

Weekday lunch boxes and a refreshed value menu

Wagamama has also introduced three lunch boxes. They are designed for midweek diners seeking variety and value.

  • Miso k-chicken lunch box — bite-sized fried chicken glazed in sticky miso.
  • Miso cauliflower lunch box — a vegetarian alternative with the same sticky miso finish.
  • Nasi goreng lunch box — teriyaki fried rice with grilled chicken breast, katsu pickles and curry notes.

These items are served Monday to Friday between 11am and 3pm. Wagamama’s existing lunch deal remains available, offering a main and drink for £14.

Chef’s specials and new rice bowls: seafood ramen, salmon and more

The summer menu pairs portable choices with premium dishes. A standout is the signature seafood ramen.

  • Signature seafood ramen — butterfly king prawns and tender squid marinated in gochujang and miso. It’s finished with a tangy yuzu broth, crispy onions and samphire.
  • Gochujang salmon rice bowl — a spicy, umami-forward salmon option.
  • Chicken and prawn rice bowl — a fragrant bowl that balances protein and fresh tastes.

New drinks and a bigger gluten-free selection

Alongside mains, Wagamama added a tropical twist to its drinks menu. The Matcha Colada blends coconut, apple and pineapple for a creamy refresher.

The brand has expanded gluten-free offerings with 12 new dishes. This includes gluten-free takes on popular plates and new small plates for diners with dietary needs.

  • Chicken firecracker (GF)
  • Duck donburi (GF)
  • Spicy smashed cucumber (GF)
  • Chicken and prawn rice bowl (GF)
