The best green beans EVER!
Okay these may not be the most photogenic veggies out there but they will blow your mind, trust me! Every single time I make these everyone comments how good they are & THEY ARE SO SIMPLE! Our garden is producing copious amounts of green beans as of late. My dad had brought home about 3 lbs on Sunday and yesterday I trimmed the ends, gave them a good washing and cooked these up within 10 minutes! They are so flavorful, have minimal ingredients and you can eat them like fries. An air fryer is needed for this recipe and if you’re on the hunt for one… I highly recommend * this , this or this one. (*affiliate links)
Ingredients:
Green beans (I’d recommend having 2 or more lbs), washed and trimmed
Drizzle of olive or avocado oil (1 tbl or so)
Pinch of a coarse salt
Few cracks of freshly ground pepper
Method:
Once the beans are washed and trimmed, add them to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with oil of choice, sprinkle salt and pepper over the top. Toss to coat.
Working in batches, add a good handful of the beans to your air fryer.
Set temp to 375 degrees and set the timer for 10 minutes. Shake occassionally.
Remove when golden and resume cooking additional batches.
Add a sprinkle of additional salt and pepper as needed.
Serve.
If you don’t have an air fryer, you can easily broil these in your oven until golden (3-5 minutes depending on your oven). Again, remove when golden. Serve immediately.
