Happy Friday!!! This weekend promises to be super busy getting ready for our company/Thanksgiving food preparations. How about you? My husband took the day off today to help me out and hopefully grab some sushi along the grocery-filled journey. I haven’t had sushi in forever and I’m craving big time but I digress… Do you host or bring a dish to someone’s home for Thanksgiving?
This week I started to think about my favorites. I thought of gift ideas for the upcoming holidays, running and just flat out food favorites. I hope you enjoy this installment of Friday Favorites.
This week I had a box arrive at my door with a new Vega Sport Recovery Protein that I’m totally smitten with… I love Vega but this one. It’s a jacked up your protein for next-level performance. Vega describes this protein as the following: Build and repair strong muscles, and reduce recovery time with Vega Sport Performance Protein. Each serving has 30 grams complete protein, 6 grams each BCAAs and glutamine, plus performance ingredients tart cherry, turmeric, and probiotics. Tastes great and comes in a bunch of flavors.
My newest, favorite water bottle is S’well. They come in a million (okay not a million but a ton) of colors and sizes. I think these will be a crazy popular hit for the holiday gift-giving season. Pictures from Swell’s website.
These are awesome for coffee, tea or cold beverages. Guys and girls both young and old will love! Keep your beverages hot or cold for 24 hours. Super fashion-forward and come in a variety of sizes and price points.
Yeah, this one goes without saying. I’m a huge fan of Thug Kitchen & if you’re vegan or have one on your gift-giving list — WINNER WINNER vegan dinner. Click here to check it out.
One more book but not really a book book but more of a running journal that I adore. 2016 will be here before we know it and I’m a big fan of writing down my running schedule each week/monthly totals. I have this journal and used it this year and already have my new one ready for next year. Great gift for you or the runner in your life.
It comes in red, black/charcoal or this purple color. I found that Target has the best price here.
Let’s chat about fashion. I do wear regular people clothing from time to time. I’ve been on a mission to remove the non-sentimental leather items (yes, I have some sentimental gifts that I cannot discard/sell/giveaway) from my closet. I then needed to replace said items, mainly my boots I live in with skinny jeans or leggings, and I’ve found awesome replacements! I bought two pairs of these boots (both pair I got on sale for a total less than $80- holy yay!) and they look awesome from Target. I purchased both the brown and black. Fit true to size. So cute and I wore them for 8 hours last Saturday and they were so comfortable. Highly recommend.
Okay that’s it from here. I hope you enjoy my favorites this week. Off to plan and make lists.
