 MARSHA MALAMET
"When I was 11, I realized I could come up with my own melodies and that was a revelation" says composer Marsha Malamet, ...."from that point on all I ever wanted to do was make music."
A New York native, the Los Angeles based composer has accomplished that, with many outstanding recordings by some of the worlds top artists including Barbra Streisand, Faith Hill, Luther Vandross, Jessica Simpson, Diana Ross, Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Sheena Easton, and Judy Collins to name a few.
She is currently represented on Broadway with a song in the hit musical, The Boy From Oz Starring Hugh Jackman.
Marsha will have a theatrical production based on her songs next year produced in Los Angeles. She is currently finishing her solo CD, which will be released in 2004, distributed by LML Music.

 ALAN ROY SCOTT
Alan Roy Scott has an extensive background in the music industry, particularly as a songwriter and producer.
He was a staff writer/producer for 11 years, first with Love/Zager Productions, an esteemed R&B Production Company based in New York, and then followed by 5 years with Screen Gems-EMI Music and then 5 years with the legendary Jobete Music (Motown). Particulary during his Jobete years, he had a chance to work with some of the Motown greats such as Smokey Robinson, The Temptations and Stevie Wonder. Also during his staff days he had a chance to work extensively on writing songs and music for various films, TV shows and cartoons.
Among the many diverse artists who have recorded his songs are: Celine Dion, Luther Vandross, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan, Starship, Laura Brannigan, Puff Johnson, El Debarge, Roberta Flack, The Allman Brothers, Tiffany, Sheena Easton, The Neville Brothers, Martika, Anne Murray, Pat Benatar, Patti LaBelle, The Pointer Sisters, Rick Springfield, Johnny Mathis, Patti Austin and The Oak Ridge Boys.
Among his many TV/Film credits are songs included in: First Wives Club, Top Gun, Coming To America, Karate Kid II, Iron Eagle II, Summer School, Welcome Back, Roxy Carmichael, The Boost, Fame (TV show), Rags To Riches, Doogie Howser, M.D., Guiding Light, Santa Barbara, As The World Turns and Beverly Hills 90210 among others. |
